Job summary

Mediclinic Middle East in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Nurse to lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure high-quality, safe patient care during shifts in a private hospital setting.

The role requires a Bachelor of Nursing, 3–5 years of senior nursing experience with duties as Duty Manager or Shift In Charge, and strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing from a recognised Nursing Institute.
• Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field preferred.
• 3–5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
• Experience as Duty Manager/Shift In Charge/Nursing Supervisor in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and leadership guidance to multidisciplinary team to ensure quality and safe patient care during shift.
• Activate, co-ordinate and manage all clinical or non-clinical emergencies.
• Provide operational guidance and support in the absence of Unit Manager or Head of Department.
• Achieve clinical quality according to set policies and procedures.
• Ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that contributes to team engagement.
