Job summary

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    To support and coordinate the administrative functions related to the scheduling of theatres according to company standard and policy

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

    Ensure effective allocation and utilisation of available theatres

    Support the coordination and related activities in theatre required to ensure theatres are prepared and available as per schedules

    Provide general administrative duties related to theatre documentation, including telephonic services

    Ensure an efficient electronic and paper filing system is in place and maintained

    Actively participate and support quality improvement processes

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    A relevant medical qualification from an accredited institution

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    At least 2 years' experience in a clinical position

    REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
    • Verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Basic medical terminology
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
