Job summary

IDC Technologies in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced OpenShift & IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Administrator to manage enterprise containerized environments.

You will deploy and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters, ensure high availability, security, and performance across Development, UAT, and Production, while coordinating with infra, app, and operations teams.

Qualifications

Detailed Job Description

As an OpenShift & IBM MAS Administrator, you will be responsible for the deployment, administration, maintenance, and optimization of Red Hat OpenShift clusters supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite workloads. You will work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and security across Development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environments. The role requires hands-on expertise in container orchestration, automation, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and platform upgrades. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence by ensuring system stability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards. Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environments on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize OpenShift clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
• Perform platform backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and autoscaling configuration activities.
• Monitor cluster health, application performance, and resource utilization across environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pods, operators, deployments, networking, storage, and containerized workloads.
• Manage security configurations including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), certificates, secrets, and access policies.
• Execute platform patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities with minimal service disruption.
• Support Development, UAT, and Production environments while ensuring operational stability.
• Develop and maintain deployment configurations using YAML and OpenShift CLI (oc).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills
