A leading company in the retail sector is seeking a Logistics Transformation Manager to define and implement strategies for enhancing logistics efficiency in the Middle East region. The role requires overseeing the full project lifecycle and collaborating with key stakeholders to establish logistics best practices while maintaining high operational standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in logistics/supply chain management and over 5 years of relevant experience.
POSITION
PURPOSE:
The
Logistics Transformation Manager is responsible for defining and
implementing together with his/her key functional stakeholders the
roadmap to evolve Sephoras logistics footprint in the Region in
support of business a strong project management load the role
oversees all the life cycle of the project from the definition to
the post implementation phase. In his/her role the Logistics
Transformation Manager is the gate keeper of the logistics best
practices and processes across the Region. That includes (but not
limited to) preparation of tenders and SLAs with logistics service
providers omnichannel warehouse and distribution design and 3PL
management towards superior service at an optimized operating cost.
He/she leads functionally indirect teams of key users SMEs and
consultants and collaborates closely with external logistics
service providers and internal Customer Service and Demand
& Supply Planning
teams.
