Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Online Marketplace Assistantto support our Amazon marketplace operations team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their e-commerce career who wants hands-on experience with one of the most critical platforms in online retail. You'll play a key role in ensuring our product listings are accurate, compliant, and optimised for visibility, while helping the wider team stay on top of account health and performance.

This role is much more than basic admin – you’ll be diving into the engine room of a high-growth Amazon business, learning how listings, data, and compliance intersect to drive commercial outcomes. You’ll be trusted to manage key operational tasks, with room to grow as you master the platform and gain exposure to other areas of marketplace trading.

Sponsorship is available although existing UAE residency is preferred.

Location: Barsha Heights,Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

Create & Manage ASINs/SKUs:

Accurately set up new product listings in Amazon Seller Central, ensuring all product data, categories, and variations are correctly configured from day one.

Listing Management:
Support the creation and ongoing optimisation of product listings, including titles, bullets, descriptions, backend keywords, and A+ content, in line with Amazon best practices.

Data Management:

Maintain and update large datasets relating to pricing, inventory, and product specifications using Excel or Google Sheets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all touchpoints.

Account Health Monitoring:

Track key Amazon account health metrics (e.g. policy violations, performance notifications, suppressed listings) and flag issues early to prevent disruption to sales or visibility.

Compliance & Policy Checks:
Stay up to date with Amazon’s evolving policies and support the team in maintaining listing compliance, helping resolve warnings, flags, or takedowns as needed.

Basic Reporting:
Generate regular reports on listing status, inventory levels, pricing accuracy, and account performance to inform decision-making and prioritise action.

Team Support:
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Amazon team, jumping in to assist with ad hoc tasks and continuous process improvements.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong attention to detail – you’re meticulous about getting things right, especially when it comes to data.
  • Comfortable working in Excel/Google Sheets and handling large, structured datasets.
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly grasp new systems and tools – experience with Amazon Seller Central is a plus but not essential.
  • Proactive and organised, with a can-do attitude and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without losing track.
  • Excellent communicator who works well with others and isn’t afraid to ask questions or escalate when needed.
  • Commercially curious – you want to understand how your work contributes to overall marketplace performance and growth.
  • Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or an administrative/data entry role is helpful but not required.
