Purpose: Lead, coach, and develop the sales team across Gulf countries to maximize short- and long-term sales performance while managing supply and demand to ensure a flawless patient/customer experience. This role places the patient at the center of all efforts and operates within AbbVie's business code of conduct policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Sales Delivery & Performance:
- Achieve or surpass sales performance and Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with the national sales strategy while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Lead financial and demand planning cycles to guarantee an uninterrupted supply of products to patients.
People Leadership:
- Drive team success by effectively leading, developing, and coaching the infield team. Establish clear sales targets, manage Sales Force Management Systems, and monitor KPIs to foster continuous improvement and outstanding sales outcomes. Empower team members to excel and contribute to a high-performance culture.
- Inspire and motivate the Sales Team by providing regular updates and training on medical, technical, and specialized infield knowledge. Foster an environment of continuous learning and development, encouraging team members to expand their expertise and stay at the forefront of industry advancements. Offer personalized coaching and mentorship to cultivate highly skilled and motivated professionals dedicated to excellence.
Account Plan and Brand Strategy:
- Lead the strategic oversight and consolidation of account plan results to support and enhance the brand planning process, ensuring alignment with market needs. Use insights from account plans to contribute to brand strategies, optimizing momentum and driving success.
- Employ adaptive strategies to anticipate industry trends and customer demands, enabling proactive adjustments to brand objectives and tactics. Integrate comprehensive account analyses to implement refined brand strategies that resonate with stakeholders, ensuring continuous growth in a dynamic market.
Customer and Cross-Functional Team Management:
- Align national priorities, activities, and engagement plans with brand strategy to maximize impact.
- Proactively address the needs, expectations, and challenges of key stakeholders to build trusted partnerships and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Influence key stakeholders as assigned by Brand Teams to enhance brand performance.
- Build and maintain cross-functional collaboration between stakeholders, establish effective multidisciplinary infield teams, and ensure timely, high-quality market intelligence sharing to enhance brand strategy.
Qualifications :
- Medical bachelor's degree or equivalent in fields such as Pharmacy, Medicine, or Veterinary Medicine.
- Successful leadership experience in Marketing or other commercial fields (e.g., Market Access) within Oncology/Hematology.
- Significant experience in Gulf markets is highly recommended.
- Proven track record as a Sales Manager or similar role within the biotech/pharma industry.
- Established knowledge of the territory and relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.

- Proven leadership skills, including managing, coaching teams or individuals, talent development, and performance management.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, including work plans, activities, timetables, and targeting, with a focus on excellence.
