Job summary

Etihad Rail Operating Companies is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to maintain on-track and workshop equipment including tampers, ballast systems and related civil machinery. The role requires formal mechanical/electrical qualifications and proficiency in diesel diagnostics, PLCs, and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Requires formal mechanical/electrical technical qualifications.
• Candidate should be able to diagnose diesel engines.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on all vehicles and related equipment.
• Work on site and in the workshop/depot.
• Communicate plant faults to the line manager promptly.
