Responsibilities

• Receive incoming merchandise and stage items according to the appropriate hotel department.
• Mark merchandise correctly for placement within the facility.
• Deliver received goods to the designated departments.
• Stack merchandise safely on pallets or carts for storage and distribution.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory items and operational supplies.
• Monitor available stock and notify the manager or supervisor promptly when inventory levels are low.
• Receive deliveries and ensure perishable products are stored correctly.
• Rotate stock according to established storage and handling procedures.
• Inspect deliveries and date information to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality.
• Refuse damaged, unacceptable, incorrect, or non-compliant items.
• Maintain organized receiving and storage areas.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and waste and transfer them to designated storage or disposal areas.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
