Job summary

Gateworth Group, based in Dubai, seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to join the on-site finance team. You will ensure accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with IFRS and local regulations, covering month-end close, budgeting, cash flow management, and audit support.

The role reports to the Director of Financial Operations and requires professional accounting qualifications (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA), law-firm or professional services experience, and solid VAT/GCC tax

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting within a law firm or professional services.
• Knowledge of SRA regulations and IFRS exposure.
• Proficiency in VAT and GCC tax rules.
• Strong integrity, planning and deadline-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and monthly management accounts.
• Manage cash flow, budgets and forecasts with insightful analyses.
• Process monthly payroll and timekeeper setup.
• Coordinate with external auditors on audit and tax compliance; improve internal controls.
