Job summary

Elegant Qubes in Dubai is seeking a Technical Draftsman with a degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture to produce detailed 2D joinery drawings for interior fit-out projects. You will create shop drawings, elevations, sections and notes for cabinets, wardrobes, counters, walls and custom furniture, and coordinate with designers and workshop staff.

Immediate joiner is preferred and work location is on-site at Dubai Investment Park.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture required.
• 2D drafting experience for joinery/interior fit-out projects preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with strong technical drawing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D shop drawings for joinery and interior fit-out, including cabinets, wardrobes, counters, wall panels, doors, and custom furniture.
• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, and construction details for production and installation.
• Translate design concepts and site measurements into practical technical drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, estimators, project teams, and workshop staff to resolve technical issues.
• Revise drawings based on client comments, consultant approvals, and site requirements.
• Maintain organized drawing records, revisions, and approved drawing sets.
