Job Title: Motion Graphic Designer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Business Administration (Management) or relevant degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in motion graphic design, including modeling, animating, and rendering in 3D and 2D environments
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio Max, Viz Artist (preferable)
• Experience with Realtime 3D render engines in data-driven environments (e.g., elections, weather)
• Understanding of television control room workflow and operations
• Strong editorial awareness and understanding of visual language and graphic design
• Excellent planning, organization, communication, teamwork, and flexibility skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Creative Team to implement designs for all MBC Programs.
2. Template and update graphics, including lower-third and full-form graphics.
3. Work on both short-term and long-term projects as required.
4. Maximize creativity and quality within a Realtime environment.
5. Ensure system robustness in collaboration with Graphics Management and Engineering teams.
6. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix system-related issues.
7. Create and source models, scenes, and images for the graphics library.
8. Coordinate with Creative Management, editorial colleagues, designers, and technicians to optimize departmental output across platforms.
9. Develop skills across programs and platforms in response to evolving business and technical needs.
