Job summary

Confidential in Dubai seeks an experienced Finance & Accounting leader to support our Oil Trading business. You will drive financial control, treasury, and reporting to enable informed decision-making across physical and paper oil trades.

The role oversees statutory reporting, trade finance instruments, MTM and hedging, and cross-border regulatory compliance, while mentoring a team and coordinating audits. You will engage with traders, executives, and regulators, shaping risk management and

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in finance, with oil/commodity trading exposure.
In-depth knowledge of physical and financial oil trading structures and trade finance.
Strong regulatory and cross-border tax/compliance knowledge.
Experience with letters of credit, hedging/derivatives accounting, and multi-jurisdictional entities.

Responsibilities

Oversee preparation and presentation of financial statements for trading entities.
Manage trade finance instruments and liaise with banks and providers.
Monitor MTM positions, hedging activity, and commodity price risk.
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital across trading cycles.
Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory reporting compliance.
Consolidate accounts across group trading entities.
Lead and mentor a finance team of professionals.
Build relationships with traders, executives, auditors, regulators.
Support ad-hoc projects and new trade structures as needed.
