Job summary

NAFFCO Careers in Dubai seeks a motivated Proposal Engineer (Oil & Gas) specializing in Fire Fighting Systems to join our commercial and engineering team. You will prepare competitive, technically accurate proposals and quotations for fire fighting systems on upstream, midstream and downstream projects.

If you are methodical, commercially aware and experienced in fire protection engineering within the oil & gas sector.

Qualifications

Experience in preparing proposals and technical bids for fire fighting systems.
Knowledge of fire protection standards and codes; NFPA, ISO where applicable.
Proficient in hydraulic calculations and pump sizing.
Commercial awareness for detailed cost estimates and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation of proposals, technical offers and cost estimates for fire fighting systems.
Review tender documents and prepare compliant bid outlines and schedules.
Develop scope breakdowns, BOMs and preliminary layouts with design and procurement teams.
Produce calculations for water demand, hydraulics and foam system sizing.
Coordinate with suppliers for data, quotations and lead times.
Support negotiations with technical input to terms and post-tender queries.
