OIL AND GAS EDITOR, AGBI

Arabian Gulf Business Insight (agbi.com), is a business news platform dedicated to creating insightful content for senior business leaders across the MENA region and global markets. With a brand ethos of ‘others tell you what, we tell you why’, AGBI has caught the attention of the world’s biggest companies across the region. We are now recruiting for a journalist who will specialise in the oil and gas sectors in the Gulf and wider Middle East to join our newsroom in Dubai.

Oil is the dominant sector in the GCC and wider Middle East. Despite ambition diversification strategies by the region’s governments, oil their long-term economic success is still heavily dependent on this core sector.

Responsibilities

As AGBI’s Oil and Gas Editor, you will serve as the in-house expert, delivering timely, high-quality content that provides depth, context, and clarity on developments within the energy sector—ranging from upstream and downstream activity to energy policy, OPEC+ decisions, renewables integration, and national diversification strategies such as Saudi Vision 2030.

Qualifications
