Job description

IQIP, the global leader in pile driving and handling equipment, is looking for a Service Technician. Together with our 400 colleagues across the globe, we provide smart and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects. Our work extends both at sea, where we contribute to wind farm and oil & gas projects, and on land, where we engage in projects related to bridges and ports. You will be contributing to an adventurous career where no two days are the same, and where you might sometimes fly to work by helicopter!

As a Service Technician at IQIP Middle East, you'll embrace adventure in your daily work. You will play a critical role in installing foundations for our markets, contributing to the sustainability of the world. Your job will take you around the globe, especially focusing on the Middle East and Africa, where you will work on projects that vary from offshore wind to decommissioning and oil & gas. You will be part of a dynamic global service team and located in Dubai.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Independently maintain, repair, commission, and (digitally) operate hydraulic equipment.
2. Work on the installation of foundations for jetties, harbour extensions, oil & gas platforms.
3. Work both internationally and at our yard in Dubai, preparing equipment for your next project or servicing and maintaining customer equipment.

Your Profile:

1. A technician with passion for hydraulics / electricity and a self-starter attitude.
2. Ability to work well under time pressure, service-oriented and flexible.
3. Emphasis on safety and goal orientation.
4. Certifications such as BOSIET / FOET OPITO are a plus.
5. Proficiency in English, with the ability to write reports and basic Microsoft Office skills.
6. Willingness to travel internationally.
7. A degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering is preferred, along with relevant work experience in Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas related fields.
