Job summary

Al Sahraa Group is seeking a Lifting Specialist (Appointed Person) for offshore oil & gas projects. The role requires extensive lifting experience, offshore/onshore expertise, and the ability to plan and supervise critical lifts across multiple sites.

Strong leadership, HSE focus, and knowledge of international lifting standards are essential. Applicants should hold a valid Appointed Person certification from a recognized ADNOC Offshore-approved provider and have experience with crane operations

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (minimum 3 years) or equivalent.
• 7+ years lifting-related experience in oil & gas, with at least 5 years in a similar Appointed Person role.
• Strong experience in offshore and onshore lifting operations.
• Ability to prepare, review, supervise, and execute critical lift plans.
• Experience leading Crane Operators, Riggers, and Banksmen to ensure safe lifting operations.

Responsibilities
