Job summary

EnerMech in Abu Dhabi seeks an Appointed Person for lifting operations on client platforms. You will prepare lift plans, coordinate vessel and platform lifts, and ensure all staff are qualified and briefed according to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is mandatory.
• ADNOC Training Center approved certification is required.
• Oil & gas offshore and onshore lifting experience of at least 10 years with 5 years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lift plans and procedures per client and company standards.
• Plan, coordinate, control and execute the lift.
• Coordinate contractor riggers for vessel lifts and platform lifts as directed by crane supervisor or company personnel.
• Ensure all involved are competent and briefed on tasks and procedures.
• Ensure test certificates and documents are available and up-to-date.
• Manage client/company-owned lifting equipment and maintain related records.
• Assist with inspection and recertification of lifting equipment as needed.
• Carry out banking/signalman duties and ensure lifts follow the plan.
