Job summary

Al Sahraa Group seeks an experienced Lifting Specialist (Appointed Person) to lead offshore lifting operations across platforms, rigs, barges, and vessels. You will supervise crane operators, riggers, and banksmen, ensuring safe lifting practices with adherence to HSE standards.

The role requires hands-on AP experience, ADNOC-approved training, and a strong background in mechanical engineering. Offshore/onshore exposure is essential for high-risk environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of oil & gas lifting experience (offshore/onshore).
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3-year) or equivalent for candidate qualification.
• Hands-on experience as Appointed Person for lifting equipment and critical lifts.
• ADNOC Offshore Approved 4-day Appointed Person Course.

Responsibilities

• Hold overall control of offshore lifting operations within designated areas.
• Prepare and review detailed Lifting Plans for critical lifting activities; final plans reviewed by single-point authority.
• Supervise and execute critical lifting procedures in compliance with oil & gas standards.
• Lead a team of Crane Operators, Riggers, and Banksmen to ensure safe lifting practices.
• Enforce HSE priorities and adopt international lifting engineering standards across offshore locations.
• Manage change and apply excellence in change management for lifting operations.
