Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced offshore electrical technician in the UAE to perform maintenance, installation, and modifications of electrical machinery across facilities. You will prepare tools, observe PTW safety, and follow all safety and quality procedures to minimize downtime.

You will handle preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and help schedule daily work orders while coordinating with supervisors. UAE experience and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience is required in UAE.
• Proficient in English communication and basic computer skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of plant and equipment used in offshore facilities.
• Adherence to industry standards and codes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, modifications, and installation across offshore facilities.
• Prepare tools and materials required for maintenance activities.
• Apply PTW system knowledge and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Follow HSE, environmental and quality procedures consistently.
• Ensure maintenance work follows procedures for controlled execution.
• Attend to breakdowns and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Prepare daily work schedules and prioritize work orders with supervisor approval.
• Assist in equipment start up and commissioning after maintenance.
• Ensure availability of tools, materials and spare parts for activities.
