Job summary

KBR Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer for offshore projects based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The role involves design, review and coordination of electrical deliverables for ADNOC offshore facilities, with required offshore and safety certifications, and strong knowledge of ETAP/SKM and related standards. The candidate will travel offshore on a rotational basis to support brownfield assessments, verify installations, and gather project data for design execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and relevant licensure.
• OPITO BOSIET/T-BOSIET certification required or desirable.
• 5+ years in Oil & Gas/industrial projects with offshore experience.
• Minimum 3 years offshore experience; ADNOC offshore exposure desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ETAP/SKM and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret SLDs and specs; coordinate with designers.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, coordinate, and execute electrical engineering tasks for ADNOC offshore assets across project phases.
• Prepare electrical specifications, datasheets, load lists and cable sizing calculations.
• Provide input to designers for layouts; review workmanship and quality.
• Conduct offshore site surveys and support brownfield modifications.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, IEC/IEEE/NEMA/ATEX, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and vendors for technical responses.
