Job summary

Wood in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Offshore Drilling Supervisor to supervise offshore operations and ensure safety and efficiency in planning, preparation, and execution of drilling, completion, and abandonment activities.

The role interfaces with onshore teams to maintain alignment with company objectives, ensuring timely availability of equipment and materials and adherence to HSEQ standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise offshore operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards
• Ensure all well operations are safely executed in line with approved programs, budgets, and company objectives
• Manage rig activities, offshore personnel, materials, and logistics to prevent operational delays
• Provide engineering support for planning, preparation, and review of drilling, completion, and abandonment operations
• Act as the key interface between offshore operations and onshore teams to ensure alignment with company objectives
• Ensure contractor and service company performance meets contractual and operational expectations
• Maintain compliance with the Company Safety Management System and HSEQ standards
• Ensure timely availability of personnel, equipment, and materials offshore
• Support internal and corporate audits where required
