Job summary

The Chiller Guys Hub in Dubai seeks an Offshore Cooling Engineer to lead custom cooling system designs for offshore and industrial projects worldwide. You will perform heat load calculations, select equipment, size piping, and create detailed drawings to meet challenging environments.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring designs translate from paper to field deployment while staying current with refrigerants and energy efficiency standards. Dubai-based role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• 3–7 years designing industrial cooling systems
• Experience with offshore, marine, or desert applications is a plus
• Understanding of international codes and standards

Responsibilities

• Design custom cooling systems from scratch for offshore and industrial applications worldwide
• Run heat load calculations and system modeling to verify designs
• Select equipment, size piping, and specify components from compressors to control panels
• Collaborate with customers to understand real problems beyond stated needs
• Create detailed engineering drawings and P&IDs for fabricators
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure field operability and commissioning
• Troubleshoot installations and stay updated on refrigerants and energy standards
