Job summary

KBR is seeking a Specialist Engineer to manage Asset/SPIR coordination for offshore facilities, ensuring asset registers, SPIR documentation, and master data are complete and compliant. The role acts as the focal point among Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Operations and Supply Chain to ensure seamless transfer of asset information at project handover.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset data governance and lifecycle information management.
• Proven ability to coordinate SPIR documentation and spare-parts data.
• Ability to interface across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Operations and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate asset registers for offshore projects with proper tagging and documentation.
• Review and validate SPIR submissions; ensure interchangeability and stocking levels align with maintenance needs.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables related to asset management and lifecycle data during project execution.
• Provide asset and SPIR coordination support for Wellhead Towers, offshore piping, subsea cables, boat landings, foundations and structural systems.
• Coordinate project handover documentation to operations; support commissioning with asset information; ensure turnover dossiers are complete.
• Interface with all stakeholders (Eng, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain) and support client audits and progress reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and client asset management standards; assist in resolving discrepancies.
