Job summary

MPH is seeking a senior Offshore and Marine Services Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead a multidisciplinary team of surveyors and engineers, directing complex marine consultancy across the GCC while ensuring compliance with international codes and company standards.

You will drive market development, oversee offshore project executions, client relations with NOCs and financial institutions, and governance of SOPs, budgets, and KPIs to achieve profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical consultancy projects, including vessel new buildings, FPSO/FLNG offshore conversion projects, jack-up rig upgrades, and vessel life extensions.
• Conduct technical due diligence audits, engineering plan reviews, and asset integrity assessments for shipowners, energy operators, and financial/insurance institutions.
• Drive market development and client expansion across key Middle East markets (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).
• Direct regional field operations, surveyor allocation, operational budgets, and project P&L.
• Mentor, train, and develop a team of marine surveyors, naval architects, and offshore engineers.
• Author and continuously update company survey guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical training programs.
• Managing the business P&L, Analysis of business performance and implement required controls for business enhancement
• Manage and monitor the corporate and regional KPIs for the business operations including local compliance, corporate governance, key objectives and targets fully in compliance with the business and customer requirements
• Developing business strategy in line with corporate objectives, expanding business, customers base
• Preparation, managing, control and achieve the business budget including turnover and profitability objectives

The Offshore and Marine Services Manager is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for directing, expanding, and governing marine and offshore technical consultancy services across the Middle East (GCC) region. This role bridges high-level technical oversight, operational management, and strategic business development.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team of surveyors and engineers in executing complex projects including offshore vessel conversions (FPSO/FLNG), jack-up rig audits and life extensions, pre-purchase condition surveys. Serving as a trusted advisor to National Oil Companies (NOCs), shipowners, shipyards, and financial institutions, the Manager ensures strict adherence to international maritime codes, Classification Society rules, and corporate HSEQ standards while driving operational excellence and regional growth.
