Job Summary

To administer clients research project portfolio across its lifecycle, covering proposal submission, Sponsored Research Agreement and Post-Doctoral Fellowship processes, project and award records, milestone and expenditure monitoring, funder and partner correspondence and compliance reporting, with particular focus on collaborative projects run with partner universities and institutions, and to build and maintain the research ERP and workflow systems on which that administration depends.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage research projects throughout the full lifecycle, from proposal submission to project closure and archiving.
• Support researchers with funding proposals, budgets, compliance checks, documentation, and funder submissions.
• Coordinate research agreements, contracts, amendments, sub-awards, and collaborations with Legal, Finance, and external partners.
• Manage post-doctoral and research staff processes, including recruitment, contracts, onboarding, visas, extensions, and exits.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, milestones, deliverables, and prepare financial/technical reports for funders and management.
• Ensure compliance with research ethics, safety, data management, conflict of interest, and other institutional requirements.
• Maintain research management systems, records, dashboards, reports, and support system improvements and user training.
• Coordinate research committees, internal funding schemes, funding opportunities, partner communications, and management reporting.
