About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for an Officer, Fire Life & Safety to join our team at Yas Plaza Hotels. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining workplace safety standards and preventing accidents. Responsibilities include:

1. Conducting regular inspections of premises.
2. Developing and implementing fire prevention strategies.

About You

1. Degree/Diploma in Fire Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
2. Certification as a Fire Safety Officer or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
3. Proven experience in fire prevention, emergency response, and safety management.
4. Strong knowledge of UAE fire safety regulations and NFPA codes & standards.
5. Proficient in fire alarm systems such as EST, Notifier, Simplex, etc.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
7. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
8. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
9. Physical fitness and ability to perform duties requiring moderate to heavy lifting and physical exertion.
