Job Purpose

The Officer - Branding is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the bank's brand identity across all communication channels. This role ensures brand consistency, manages branding materials, and supports marketing campaigns by implementing the bank's visual and strategic branding guidelines & ensuring a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and presence across all customer touchpoints and environments.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communication materials & all departments comply with branding standards.

  • All materials adhere to the bank's branding guidelines.
  • Positive brand perception and recognition.

Support the execution of branding initiatives, including signage, corporate giveaways, event branding, and displays at physical locations.
  • Timely and successful deployment of branding projects.
  • High-quality execution of corporate branding elements.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for the production of branding materials.
  • Efficient management of suppliers and vendors.
  • Delivery of high-quality branding assets within budget and deadlines.

Audit & Quality Check: Conduct periodic brand audits and identify gaps, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of branding activities and suggest improvements.
  • Increased brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Successful implementation of feedback-based branding enhancements.
  • Audit findings and improvements.

Support Campaign Rollout: Assist in ATL/BTL rollout and liaise with agencies and vendors.
  • Campaign smoothness.
  • Cost efficiency.

Frameworks, Boundaries, & Decision Making Authority
  • Branding Guidelines Compliance: Ensures that all branding efforts align with the bank's corporate identity, Shariah principles, and marketing strategy. Works within defined brand manual and under supervision of Marketing & Branding Managers.
  • Decision-Making Authority: Can recommend branding improvements, propose new brand initiatives, and execute branding tasks within the approved framework. Final approvals are taken in coordination with the marketing manager.
  • Budgetary Constraints: Works within pre-approved budgets for branding materials, signage, and promotional items.
  • Collaboration: Works closely with marketing teams, external vendors, event organizers, and corporate clients to maintain brand consistency.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Design, or a related field.
  • Certification in Branding or Visual Communication is a plus.

Minimum Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in branding, marketing, or corporate communication.
  • Experience in financial services or banking is preferred.

Language Skills:
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English & Arabic) preferred for localized branding initiatives.

Computer/ System / Software Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator for minor design tasks.
  • Experience with branding tools and project management software, procurement/branding systems is an advantage.
