Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Office Cleaner/Support Staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment for our employees and visitors. This role involves a variety of cleaning and support tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office facilities.

1. Cleaning Duties:

  1. Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
  2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, and other common areas.
  3. Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
  4. Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in restrooms and kitchens.
  5. Clean and sanitize office equipment and furniture as needed.

2. Maintenance Support:

  1. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
  2. Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.

3. General Office Support:

  1. Assist with setting up meeting rooms including arranging furniture and equipment.
  2. Support staff with moving office furniture and supplies as needed.
  3. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  4. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support office operations.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
  3. Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies.
  4. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
  5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  6. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  7. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  8. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Working Conditions:

The role involves physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. May require early morning or late evening shifts depending on the office schedule. Work is primarily indoors but may occasionally involve outdoor tasks.
