Job summary

Role Description

The Odoo Techno Functional role is a full-time hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the team member configures and customizes Odoo modules, translates business requirements into functional and technical specifications, and collaborates with stakeholders to optimize ERP workflows. Daily tasks include analyzing existing business processes, performing functional testing, managing integrations with third-party systems, and resolving application issues. The role involves documenting solutions, supporting end users through training and guidance, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality, maintainable implementations. The team member is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of Odoo-based solutions and align them with client objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to understand, model, and optimize business processes within Odoo.


• Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders, and to document requirements clearly.


• Experience in business process analysis and mapping, with the ability to translate operational needs into Odoo functional configurations.


• Hands-on experience with functional testing of Odoo modules and workflows to ensure stability, usability, and compliance with requirements.


• Knowledge of integration concepts and tools, including connecting Odoo with third-party applications and APIs.


• Practical experience working in a techno-functional Odoo role, including module configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.


• Familiarity with Python and PostgreSQL, or similar technologies, to support technical discussions and minor customizations.


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and deliver solutions on time.


• Experience in ERP or CRM implementations, preferably with Odoo in the UAE or GCC region, is an advantage.
