Job Description

  • Duties include conducting a physical assessment for children with determination.
  • Advising on adaptive equipment to help the child with daily activities.
  • Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help the child regain lost skills.
  • Developing treatment plans, assessing the work and home environments of the child, and developing physical rehabilitation programs.
  • Evaluate patient progress and alter treatment programs as and when appropriate
  • Assists with the maintenance of sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for the performance of duties by following procedures for the management of these items.
  • Formulates and completes all necessary records, reports, and statistics in line with agreed occupational therapy service policy and professional guidelines.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers of the child on patient care.
  • Maintains up-to-date clinical and professional knowledge to provide a well-developed level of informed professional knowledge, and according to organizational requirements (e.g., minimum of CPD / CME hours per year required for re-licensing)
  • Compliance with all safety, health, and quality control programs and procedures as applicable.

Job requirement

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • At least 2 years of pediatric experience in a Clinical setting
  • Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license or eligibility
  • Expertise in assessments and progress reports
  • Familiarity with Sensory Integration

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Applicants with a DHA license/ DHA eligibility Letter or DHA License in Process
