Job summary

Jumeirah International Nurseries in Dubai is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our Early Childhood Centre, overseeing day-to-day academic and operational functions and delivering the group’s vision. You will recruit, develop and retain staff while ensuring high standards and strong enrolment growth.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or higher in Early Childhood Education (or Level 5 with 3+ years’ experience), possess in-depth knowledge of KHDA/DHA regulations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education.
• Level 5 vocational qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall day-to-day academic and operational functions of the Early Childhood Centre.
• Develop and deliver a balanced EYFS/IPC curriculum underpinned by play-based activities.
• Ensure premises comply with KHDA, DHA, Dubai Municipality and other authorities.

About You:

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible to:

• Lead and manage the overall day-to-day academic and operational functions of the Early Childhood Centre including delivering the vision of the group; maximising the number of children on roll in the various programmes; recruitment, retention and development of staff; overseeing day-to-day financial systems.
• Develop and deliver a balanced EYFS /IPC curriculum, underpinned by developmentally appropriate play-based activities, Reggio Emilia and Curiosity Approach enriched by Fortes’ Accelerated Learning programmes.
• Ensure that the premises are maintained at the highest quality standards and are compliant with the regulations of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority(KHDA), Dubai Health Authoriy(DHA) , Dubai Municipality, and other government authorities.

The successful candidate will have

• A bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Early Childhood Education or professional certification i.e. Level 5 vocational qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Early Childhood setting.
• A comprehensive knowledge of childcare requirements and regulations and previous success in managing an Early Childhood Centre.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, and an outstanding work ethic.
