Overview

Nurse Surgery and Operating vacancy in Dubai UAE.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-surgical procedures for the patient.
• Consult with the patient's loved ones regarding the procedures to be done.
• Describe the procedure to the patient prior to starting it.
• Notify about estimated recuperation time.
• Disinfect medical devices before and after the treatment.
• Set up the tools needed for the procedure before it begins.
• Make all necessary prep work in the operating area before the procedure starts.
• Assist other medical staff in donning PPE, such as masks, gloves, and sterile gowns.
• Prepare and clean the site where the incision is to be made on the patient.
• Apply dressings to cuts and wounds when needed.
• Transport the patient to the recovery room after the operation.
• Monitor the patient in the recovery room until they wake up from anesthesia.
• Provide continuous care for the patient until discharge or transfer to another unit (e.g., critical care unit or appropriate ward).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: nursing 1 year preferred.
• License/Certification: DHA qualification required.
