Job summary

ENEC Operations seeks a Shift Manager Mentor to elevate the competency of Nuclear Shift Managers across ENEC’s plant operations. The role emphasizes coaching, safety culture, and leadership in line with world-class nuclear standards.

You will mentor, assess performance, and drive training integration with SAT and training teams, ensuring high reliability, operational discipline, and adherence to ENEC/Nawah expectations in a challenging power plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences is required.
• Minimum 15 years of nuclear power plant operations experience.
• Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license or equivalent license/certification preferred.
• Proven coaching/mentoring experience in high-performing nuclear plants.
• Experience benchmarking against INPO/WANO standards.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach Shift Managers to develop operational excellence and safety culture.
• Assess performance, provide feedback, and drive corrective actions.
• Reinforce nuclear safety culture and escalation practices.
• Develop HPO standards and participate in risk-based decision making.
• Support training, competency development, and SAT-aligned programs.
• Transfer knowledge, capture lessons learned, and update materials.
• Uphold ENEC/Nawah quality standards and contribute to CAP.
