Job summary

EDGE Group, based in Abu Dhabi, seeks a Manufacturing Finance Specialist for ADASI’s drone development programs. You will manage financial tracking, governance and reporting of NRE and NPI costs, ensuring capitalization under IAS 38 and alignment with budgets across stage-gates.

You will partner with Engineering, Program Management and FP&A to capture development spend, perform cost analysis, support product costing and lead month-end close, accruals and reporting while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required with professional qualification preferred.
Proven cost accounting experience in NPI/R&D finance and aerospace/defense sectors is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of IAS 38 and capitalization rules for development costs.

Responsibilities

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cost plans for programs.
Lead month-end settlement of development orders and allocate NPI costs to programs.
Ensure development costs feed into cash flow and close processes.
Manage IAS 38 R&D cost capitalization and asset schedules.
Monitor variances and provide cost analysis for new product development.
Support product costing, standard costing, and cost allocation.
Lead month-end closing, accruals, and financial reporting.
