About the Role

We are seeking a Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the backend development of cutting-edge social applications. You will play a key role in building scalable APIs, real-time communication systems, and high-performance backend services that power next-generation social features like messaging, notifications, media sharing, and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build and optimize RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support mobile and web clients
• Work closely with front-end developers, mobile engineers, and product teams to implement features
• Develop real-time systems (e.g., chat, notifications) using WebSockets or other technologies
• Ensure high performance and availability of backend systems
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Integrate third-party services (e.g., Firebase, AWS, payment gateways, analytics tools)
• Implement authentication/authorization mechanisms and user management features
• Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot issues across environments
• Follow best practices for CI/CD, security, and data privacy compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js
• Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with frameworks like Express.js, NestJS, or similar
• Solid understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other databases
• Proficient in building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT)
