NOC L1 Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor primarily all VSAT and Global Networking infrastructure systems within the confines of the NOC.
• Provide professional technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all remote sites.
• Provide continuity of pending tasks to the next shift. Shall not leave his workplace until a clear and concise understanding of handover has taken place.
• Adhere to all instructions originating from the reporting manager and smoothly translate these instructions without prejudice and contradiction to the overall NOC upkeep.
• Inform and update all matters and problems relating to 3rd party Telco providers, Satellite Operators, etc.
• Keep, maintain, control, and monitor all hardware/software tools, test instruments, work materials, and equipment utilized in every technical operation; be answerable for all missing, mishandled, and misused assets of the NOC operation.

Must Have

• Bachelor or Higher Degree in Electronics and Communications
• 2 years experience in the Satellite Industry
• Excellent Communication Skills
