The NOC Engineer – Infrastructure and Civil Projects role at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai involves preparing, reviewing, and issuing no objection certificates (NOCs) for infrastructure and service projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager and Chief Engineers in drafting policies and regulations for the issuance of NOCs for infrastructure works and services.
• Participate in workshops and initiatives related to NOC processes.
• Review, study, and issue NOCs for infrastructure works and service projects as per assigned responsibilities in coordination with the line manager.
• Contribute to updating five‑year road project plans in alignment with Dubai's service authority plans.
• Manage and coordinate service distribution effectively based on standards and best practices adopted by RTA.
• Handle and resolve complaints from RTA units and external stakeholders, escalating significant cases with recommendations to the line manager.
• Support in resolving issues related to utility distribution in coordination with the line manager.
• Ensure implementation of RTA policies, legislation, and procedures concerning NOC issuance.
• Monitor and follow up on daily section activities involving NOC issuance across projects submitted by various agencies.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between consultants, contractors, RTA units, and service authorities to streamline NOC approvals for projects.

Qualifications
