Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is seeking a Commis Chef for Japanese Peruvian Nikkei cuisine to join our bustling kitchen. You will support the culinary team with preparation and presentation while learning from experienced chefs in a dynamic Hyatt environment.

You will follow Hyatt standards, maintain food safety and hygiene, and help minimize waste. The role requires curiosity, teamwork, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Experience in Japanese, Peruvian, Nikkei, or hospitality environments is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Japanese and Peruvian cooking techniques.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Hyatt brand promise and exceptional guest service.
• Prepare, cook, and present Japanese Peruvian (Nikkei) dishes.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and techniques.
