Work Location: Embassy Suites by Hilton Dubai Business Bay, Al Abraj Street, Business Bay, Dubai

A Night Manager oversees the night-hour supervision of the Front Office Team to ensure that team members are prepared and well-informed to deliver guests an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out.

What will I be doing?

  • Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for regular and VIP guests.
  • Maximize room occupancy at best rates and promote hotel services and facilities using up-selling techniques.
  • Understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash, in accordance with hotel credit policies.
  • Represent the Hotel Manager and senior managers in their absence, taking full responsibility of the hotel.
  • Manage, record, and resolve issues or emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, policies, and local area information.
  • Follow all security and emergency procedures and initiate them as required.
  • Provide adequate handover to early staff/duty managers.
  • Participate in training courses and assist with the training and development of the Night Team.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems.
  • Conduct annual and mid-year appraisals with team members.
  • Perform health and safety checks and night walks, maintaining good awareness of all hotel areas.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.

What are we looking for?

Successful Night Managers should embody the following qualities:

  • Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel, leisure, or retail sectors.
  • High level of IT proficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Accountability and resilience.
  • Commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various work situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred additional capabilities include:

  • Previous hotel industry experience.
  • Experience with Front Office Management Systems.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • UAE work experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with an international hotel chain is required.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic skills are an advantage.
