Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Network Technician to join the IT Infrastructure team on-site in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the resort's network cabling and related equipment, including fiber, CAT6, switches, routers, and wireless APs.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in cabling/telecom environments, strong CAT6 skills, and fiber splicing/test capabilities for SM/MM networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in structured cabling or telecom environments.
• Experience with CAT6 installation, testing, and certification.
• Hands-on fiber splicing/termination/testing for SM/MM networks.
• Ability to read network diagrams and troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain network cabling, including fiber and CAT6.
• Perform fiber/splice termination, testing, and certification.
• Install and support switches, routers, and wireless APs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network/cabling issues and document results.
• Test with OTDRs, power meters, and Fluke tools; keep records.
