Description:

This role is for a Network Security Lead Engineer with expertise in various security technologies and network infrastructure.

Skills Required: Firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet; tools like Algosec, Tufin; Web proxy, VMware, and others.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding application layer protocols and TCP/IP troubleshooting from a security perspective.
• Knowledge of DDoS attacks and mitigation tools.
• Experience with IPS solutions, especially Cisco Sourcefire and Checkpoint IPS.
• Managing NextGen Firewalls, including Palo Alto and Checkpoint, and their management tools like Panorama and security appliances.
• Firewall rule review and automation projects.
• Virtualization and cloud technologies, including VMware, KVM, OLVM, and public clouds such as AWS, Azure, OCI.
• Implementation of WAFs like F5 Big-IP and other cloud WAF solutions.
• Networking skills including routing, switching, load balancers (F5, Haproxy), and CDN services (Akamai, Cloudflare).
• Understanding of network architecture models and change management within a global financial organization.
• Monitoring and management of network security devices using SNMP/ICMP and tools like Solarwinds, Nagios, Icinga.
