We are seeking a skilled Network and Security Engineer to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and security systems to ensure continuous, secure, and efficient operations.

This role requires hands-on experience in network administration, security protocols, incident response, and performance Responsibilities :

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and security incidents proactively to minimize downtime.
• Configure, deploy, and manage network security appliances, such as firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPN concentrators, and endpoint protection systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for network outages and security breaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network changes and security policies.
• Maintain and update network diagrams, documentation, and configurations.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management.
• Implement and enforce network access control policies, including user authentication and authorization.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity activities related to network infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and guidance for escalated NOC issues.
• Stay updated on emerging network and cybersecurity threats and Requirements :
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and security engineering, preferably within a NOC or SOC environment.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.), VPN technologies, and IDS / IPS systems.
• Proficient with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).
• Experience with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Ability to respond effectively to network and security incidents.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to Have :
• Experience with cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of endpoint security and EDR tools.
• Exposure to SIEM tools and incident response processes
