Overview

Network Security Engineer (Fortinet and Cisco)

Fortigate Engineer role involves enhancing and maintaining network security using Fortigate firewall solutions, working closely with the IT team to ensure secure and efficient network operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Cisco devices and Fortigate firewall devices
• Monitor network security and implement best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues
• Perform regular system updates and patches
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure network reliability
• Provide training and support for network security tools

Qualifications

• Essential Cisco skills include a strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP), routing and switching, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency in managing network devices
• Experience working with Fortinet firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager
