Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network and Security Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and optimization of network security solutions with a strong focus on F5 BIG-IP , FortiGate firewalls , and load balancing technologies .

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions.
• Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP LTM / GTM appliances including SSL offloading, traffic steering, and iRules.
• Deploy and administer Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including VPNs, NAT policies, and unified threat management.
• Maintain and optimize load balancers to ensure high availability and efficient traffic distribution.
• Monitor network performance and security posture using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and perform root cause analysis for network incidents and outages.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for network integration and project implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network and security engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge and experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM) .
• Deep understanding of Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including high availability (HA) configurations.
• Experience with load balancing concepts and technologies .
• Proficiency in routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs).
• Understanding of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and logging tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, etc.).
• Industry certifications such as F5-CA, NSE4 / 5 / 6, CCNP Security or equivalent are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.).
