Overview
The Network & Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network and security infrastructure. This role ensures the high availability, performance, and protection of systems supporting mission-critical operations across entertainment and leisure venues.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network engineering and cybersecurity, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Management & Support: Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions
- Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure availability and scalability
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, minimizing downtime
- Security Operations: Implement, manage, and monitor firewalls, IDS / IPS, and VPNs
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, implementing corrective measures
- Infrastructure Projects: Contribute to IT infrastructure projects, ensuring secure and efficient deployment
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate new technologies
- Compliance & Governance: Enforce security policies and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) across IT systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and controls
- Work closely with IT, applications, and operations teams to support business initiatives
- Provide guidance and technical training for junior engineers
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network and security engineering
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPNs, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions
- Cloud networking and security (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with security compliance frameworks and risk management
- Industry certifications preferred : CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE, CEH, CISSP, CISM (or equivalent)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
