Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in F5 Load Balancers and FortiGate Firewalls to join our infrastructure team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting secure and high-performance network systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking protocols, security best practices, and experience managing enterprise-level infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers, including LTM, GTM/DNS, and ASM modules.
• Configure and maintain FortiGate Firewalls, including VPNs, web filtering, IPS, and application control.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments.
• Implement network segmentation, redundancy, and high availability strategies.
• Collaborate with security and application teams to ensure secure and optimized traffic flow.
• Create and maintain documentation for network architecture, configuration, and procedures.
• Participate in network upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery planning.
• Analyze security threats and assist in implementing network defense strategies.
• Provide support for network incidents, changes, and service requests via ITIL practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in network engineering roles.
• Strong expertise with F5 BIG-IP, including iRules, LTM, and load balancing policies.
• In-depth experience with FortiGate Firewalls, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
