About The Museum of The Future

Built to transform the very perception of the future as we know it, the Museum of the Future was envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates at the World Government Summit. An institution and hub dedicated to future-foresight, innovation and exploring future environments, the museum along with Dubai Future Foundation welcomes people to start shaping their shared future today.

One of the most complex and ambitious projects ever executed, the Museum of the Future is by and for people, fostering a community united in the pursuit of tomorrow’s possibilities.

What are we looking for?

Network Engineer

As a vital member of the Technology team at the Museum of the Future, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless connectivity across all our sites. You’ll be responsible for supporting the museum’s network infrastructure—configuring switches and firewalls, managing wireless access, and resolving connectivity issues as they arise.

Your work will also involve maintaining accurate network documentation, assisting with cabling and rack installations, coordinating with ISPs, and ensuring optimal, stable network performance. In this role, your technical expertise will help power the experiences in Museum of the Future.

Your role within the department

Reporting to Manager of Network Infrastructure and operations, you’ll support the Technology team in maintaining the museum’s network infrastructure. Your work will be essential to daily operations—ensuring secure connectivity, resolving technical issues, and supporting installations across all sites.

Your typical working week would typically cover the following:

  • Configure and monitor network devices to ensure stable and secure connectivity across all sites.
  • Troubleshoot issues within wired and wireless networks to minimize disruptions and maintain performance.
  • Respond to daily support requests and escalate complex or non-routine issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate with service providers to resolve connectivity problems and monitor service reliability.
  • Support infrastructure tasks such as cabling, equipment setup, and network room organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation to support ongoing operations and audits.
  • Collaborate with team members on planned maintenance, system updates, and network improvement initiatives.

Are you the right fit for the role?

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, MIS, or a related field is required.
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco CLI, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and routing.
  • CCNA certification is preferred.
  • You have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in network support or a related IT field
