Job summary

American Hospital Dubai in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced nurse for a critical care/nephrology role. You will provide age-specific, patient-centered care, perform comprehensive assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and adjust care, while prioritizing safety.

Responsibilities include managing anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions, inserting AVF/AVG needles, initiating and conducting hemodialysis per protocol, monitoring vital signs and fluid balance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing with appropriate licensing.
• Minimum two years post-graduate experience in nephrology nursing.
• Valid license/registration to practice in home country or previous country.
• BLS certification or higher as per scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Perform patient assessments and continual critical care assessment.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and revise care.
• Infect control and mandatory JCIA education compliance.
• Inserts AVF/AVG needles and conducts hemodialysis per protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and fluid balance during dialysis.
• Document data in medical records per standards.
• Maintain supplies and equipment; ensure a safe environment.
• Manage anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions promptly.
