Job summary

Talentspoc LLC seeks an experienced Specialist Nephrologist to diagnose and manage kidney disorders, including acute and chronic renal conditions, with a patient-centered approach. You will oversee consultations, dialysis coordination, and renal replacement therapy decisions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires MBBS with a postgraduate nephrology qualification and 3+ years of relevant experience, including dialysis exposure.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree as required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Nephrology (MD/DNB/MRCP/Arab Board or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with dialysis and renal replacement therapy is highly desirable.
• Excellent clinical judgment and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments of renal patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute kidney injury, CKD, glomerular diseases, electrolyte issues, and hypertension-related renal conditions.
• Manage patients with advanced and end-stage kidney disease.
• Provide pre- and post-dialysis evaluation and ongoing renal care.
• Assess suitability for renal replacement therapy and coordinate dialysis care.
• Interpret renal function tests, urinalysis, imaging, and related investigations.
• Coordinate care for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or transplantation where applicable.
• Collaborate with urologists, transplant teams, intensivists, and cardiologists.
• Counsel patients and families on kidney disease, treatment options, diet and lifestyle.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure UAE healthcare standards compliance.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and continuing medical education.

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Nephrologist to diagnose and manage patients with kidney and renal disorders. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing both acute and chronic renal conditions and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments of patients with renal disorders.
• Diagnose and manage acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular diseases, electrolyte disorders, and hypertension-related renal conditions.
• Manage patients with advanced and end-stage kidney disease.
• Provide pre- and post-dialysis evaluation and ongoing renal care.
• Assess patients for appropriate renal replacement therapy and coordinate dialysis care.
• Interpret renal function tests, urinalysis, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Manage complications associated with chronic kidney disease, including anemia, mineral-bone disorders, and fluid/electrolyte abnormalities.
• Coordinate care for patients requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or renal transplantation where applicable.
• Collaborate with urologists, transplant teams, intensivists, cardiologists, and other specialists.
• Provide patient and family counseling regarding kidney disease, treatment options, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
