Job summary

Talentspoc seeks an experienced Specialist Nephrologist to diagnose and manage patients with kidney disorders in our UAE facility. You’ll handle acute and chronic renal conditions with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include dialysis care coordination, pre/post-dialysis evaluation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. A postgraduate nephrology qualification and 3+ years of experience are required, with strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD / DNB / MRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Nephrology.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and clinical assessments of patients with renal disorders.
• Diagnose and manage acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular diseases, electrolyte disorders, and hypertension-related renal conditions.
• Manage patients with advanced and end-stage kidney disease.
• Provide pre- and post-dialysis evaluation and ongoing renal care.
• Assess patients for appropriate renal replacement therapy and coordinate dialysis care.
• Interpret renal function tests, urinalysis, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Manage complications associated with chronic kidney disease, including anemia, mineral-bone disorders, and fluid/electrolyte abnormalities.
• Coordinate care for patients requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or renal transplantation where applicable.
• Collaborate with urologists, transplant teams, intensivists, cardiologists, and other specialists.
• Provide patient and family counseling regarding kidney disease, treatment options, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
